Doctrine and Covenants 88:62-63
And again, verily I say unto you, my friends, I leave these sayings with you to ponder in your hearts, with this commandment which I give unto you, that ye shall call upon me while I am near --Draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you; seek me diligently and ye shall find me; ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

First Presidency Message - March 2012

Why Do We Need Prophets?

"Because Heavenly Father loves His children, He has not left them to walk through this mortal life without direction and guidance. The teachings of our Heavenly Father are not the ordinary, predictable, run-of-the-mill kind you can pick up in paperback at the local bookstore. They are the wisdom of an all-powerful, all-knowing celestial Being who loves His children. Encompassed in His words is the secret of the ages—the key to happiness in this life and in the world to come." - President Dieter F. Uchtdorf - Ensign, March 2012

6:30 - 8:00 pm at the church

Come for a night of opportunity to contribute to the compassionate-service needs of our ward while building friendships with each other.

We will be making compassionate service casseroles and freeze them for later use. We will select 2-3 different casseroles to make and ask sisters to bring the main ingredients (sign-ups will be coming around). You can help in the kitchen and attend other mini classes:

Class 1: Compassionate Casseroles - We will be making compassionate service casseroles to freeze for later use for our ward families.

Class 2: Caring Cards - Class on making cards that will be used to give to families in our ward.
**For this class we are asking you to share your memories of ways that other sisters have touched your life. We will be sharing some of these at our meeting, so if you wish to remain anonymous, please leave your name off. You can email your memory to Kim Bronk @ bronkzoo77@gmail.com or give them to Kim Bronk or Melinda Case. Thank you!!

Class 3: The Power of One - Inspirational stories and magnet making.
